Automation Mechanical Design Drafting Technician

Generate detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure proper fit and function of high-precision components

Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), sourcing commercial off-the-shelf components

Design mounting layouts for sensors, pneumatic actuators, motors, and robotic end-effectors

Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to update existing drawings based on shop floor or user feedback

Work with machinists, assembly technicians, and electrical technicians to resolve manufacturing queries

Organize and maintain existing design documentation

Collaborate with electrical and controls engineers to ensure seamless system integration

Support the assembly, debugging, and testing of prototypes on the shop floor

Diploma in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Able to communicate in English

2+ years of experience drafting for custom automation, robotics, or complex machinery

Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (3D & 2D), AutoCAD (2D), Microsoft Office

Thorough knowledge of mechanical drive, pneumatic, hydraulic components and popular manufacturers

Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting skills

Basic understanding of Conventional machining & CNC machines

Advanced knowledge in automation design & tool making
